Sahara Aamby Valley City, Lonavla, India’s one of the largest township project developing around 10,600 acre land by Sahara India Commercial Co.Ltd incorporating residential, commercial, social, educational activities, shopping malls, multiplexes etc.
Responsibility:
- I was responsible for 12 Villas in terms of their design, coordination and execution. The luxurious villas differ by their style (English, Spanish, Contemporary, Boutique style) & by size (2 Acre, 1 Acre, ½ Acre, ¼ Acre).

Studio title: Reading the Urban Fabric, case – Porbandar, India
Urban intervention: Redevelopment of Institutional Area
Aim of the Studio:
Studio aims at “Reading an Urban Fabric” and to understand determinants and causative forces responsible for urban growth and change – the resulting physical manifestations – development process.
It emphasizes on understanding urbanization and urbanism. City - its morphology, determinants, relationships, activities, history and analysis.

Semester II (Dec - April)
Studio title: Urban extension, case – Pondicherry, India
Urban intervention: Urban – Rural Interface
Aim of the Studio:
Studio aims at designing the extension to the existing urban fabric – addresses principles of site planning, natural features and environmental, typology/ morphology, density patterns etc. Studio attempts to synthesize the multiple determinants and developmental processes along with the enabling tools and mechanisms. Urban design is seen as a part of a larger system. Particular emphasis is on environmental factors, human intervention and historicity.

Summer Work: Study focuses on documenting and analyzing relevant urban design projects in the Indian context.

Semester III (July – Nov)
Studio title: Urban Transformation, case – Ahmedabad, India
Urban intervention: Malek Saban Lake Precinct Development
Aim of the Studio:
This studio deals with a significant urban area, which has strong potential for development. This studio finally culminates into a complete design proposal including urban structure, control, guidelines and other mechanisms. This semester attempts to build up the understanding of the complexity of the city. It attempts to define the role for Urban Design in our development process.

Semester IV (Dec - June)
Studio title: Thesis, case – Pune, India
Thesis title: Reinventing old core in the context of modernization
Aim:
Study of existing Peths (market place) includes identification of place attachment indicators and characteristics of the places found to be meaningful and legible to the users.
