Chia-ching Yang received her Master of Architecture from the Southern California Institute of Architecture in Los Angeles, where she focused on visualization of materiality in relation to different scales of environmental context.
She received her Bachelor of Architecture from Ming Chuan University in Taiwan. For the past three years I’ve worked as a Senior Designer at Synthesis Design + Architecture in Los Angeles where she has focused on design development and schematic design for large-scale development projects as well as small pavilions. She has gained a lot of experience with project management and client relations, particularly as the liaison to Asian clients.. She uses parametric techniques, explores soft material and the application of elastic textiles in tensile architecture and object design.
