Sasha CIsar has worked for architectural offices in both New York City and Zurich. He has studied architecture at the ETH in Zurich, the Tokyo University of the Arts (東京芸術大学), the University Liechtenstein and holds a BSc in Architecture and an MSc in Architecture/Architectural Design Theory.
For six years he served as editor of the architecture and architectural theory magazine trans which was published through the GTA at the Department of Architecture ETH Zurich and among other authored interviews with renowned theorists and architects from the USA, Europe and Japan.
