I am a professional Architect and Construction Engineer. I graduated with a Master's Degree from the College of Civil Engineering - University of Wisconsin -Madison in May 2010. The research I was working on for my Masters in Construction Management involved a protocol and an execution plan for best Building Information Modeling (BIM) practices through the Building Lifecycle. Also, I had earned a Master’s Degree and a Bachelor in Architecture, from the School of Architecture UH, Cairo- Egypt.
For my Architectural Experience, I worked in the field of Architecture in many different countries (e.g. Egypt, United Arab Emirates and United States), and I’m licensed as a professional Architect in Egypt as well as United Arab Emirates. I worked as a fulltime Design Architect, Project Architect and a Team Leader for a number of high-rise buildings in Dhabi and Abu Dhabi, and I have been able to make a significant contribution to other various projects (e.g. Commercial tower buildings, Hospitals, Hotels, Public service facilities and Churches). I designed a number of projects in USA as well.
I participated in four local architectural competitions and I was awarded the first prize in two of them. These projects are: (1) Manazel High-rise office building, Abu-Dhabi, UAE, and (2) Mena Hotel Tower in Abu-Dhabi, UAE. Besides, two honorable awards for the Doha Coptic Cathedral at Bahrain, and St. Mary and St John Coptic Church in Downtown Cairo, Egypt. (Please see my attached Portfolio).
I have a solid background in the building technologies, architectural area planning, drafting, and coordinating mixed-use and multi-family housing construction projects. I have excellent expertise in the 4D, 5D and 6D architecture models. I work well with vendors across commercial, private, and public sectors. Proficient in hand sketching drafts and computer aided drawing. Take concepts to creation while effectively managing all resources.
