My name is Farah Addada, I am a recent graduate of the American University in Dubai Interior Design program with a BFA Degree. Having successfully completed my courses in interior design; with a minor in Integrated Computational Design, I have had the opportunity to be exposed to the professional world where I was given many tasks to design and analyze spaces and execute my thoughts by using various programs such as Revit, 3ds Max, AutoCAD and Photoshop.
My degree and work experience in interior design have helped me develop the confidence and the acute intelligence to succeed in a competitive environment.
Through my extensive volunteer work, I learned a great deal of leadership and communication skills. I expect these skills will be of great value in dealing with different clients, from different cultures and with different expectations.
Aside from interior design, my hobbies are running, scuba diving, outdoor activities and traveling.
NAGA Architects, Designers, Dubai, AE, Interior Designer
I worked as an Interior Design trainee at Naga Architects for 6 months. My position description was to be responsible of a project from concept to construction documents utilizing the programs such as Adobe Suite, Revit, 3ds Max and AutoCAD. I was given the task to work extensively with clients to develop a strong concept by designing mood boards using Photoshop and analyzing the interior spaces. After concept being approved, I moved on to re-designing layout through sketches and Revit to enhance the interior space. I was then given the task to produce 3d renderings utilizing 3ds Max. For the final stage I worked on construction documents for all the spaces in the house.
