About 

I am a graduate of Cornell University's M. Arch I program. I am looking for opportunities in the architecture field as either an intern or in a full time entry level position. I have experience in many computer programs including advanced skills in AutoCad, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office and proficient skills in Revit and Maya. 

Employment

I work primarily in project management of small retail shops. This work includes client communication, receiving bids for construction, communicating with general contractors, surveying sites before and after construction, and providing schedules for construction.

I worked on several projects, working on construction drawings and some design. My duties included redlining for architectural and structural drawings, mocking up designs in Rhino 3d, and completing the design of an outdoor stair for a small remodel in Brooklyn. I was also responsible for project management of a residential remodel, this consisted of communication with the contractor and client.

I worked as an intern, assisting with schematic design on two projects in China. I provided rendering in Maya Mental Ray and other presentation materials. Much of my time was spent working on programmatic layout and space planning.

Cornell University Solar Decathlon Team, Ithaca, NY, US, Intern/Team Member

I worked as a team member of the 2009 Cornell Solar Decathlon Team. The project was part of a student design build competition put on by the Department of Energy every two years. I provided the cost estimate for the 800 sq. ft. house as well as initial design development drawings in the mechanical and structural sections. During the construction phase of the project I assisted in framing out walls, laying flooring and sub-ceilings as well as assembly of the kitchen island.

While working at Tetra Tech I assisted in many small office tasks as well as miscellaneous project tasks. These included updating and organizing the in office product library, updating and archiving project drawings and redrawing standard details to include new market products. Project tasks included designing a decorative wall system and assembling and drawing the necessary documents. I was also able to do on site research and redlining for various education projects.

I also took several classes in computing using Maya, Grasshopper in Rhino, Adobe Flash and other Adobe Creative suite programs. I have experience in 3d manufacturing including rapid prototyping, milling, laser cutting, foam cutting and physical modeling.
