About 

Debra Lombard, LEED AP, EMIT, EMIT is a sustainable design consultant and energy-manager-in-training with experience in LEED project consulting, research and management. Debra graduated with a BS degree from Tulane University in Civil Engineering and pursued further study in urban planning, civil engineering and environmental education. Debra assisted the US Green Building Council with development of the LEED Rating systems serving as Technical Advisor to the USGBC's Materials and Resources committee. Debra has experience with project design, expediting and construction administration; business development, technical writing, marketing and event planning; safety engineering, urban planning and Brownfields remediation. In addition, she has served on the Board of Directors for The CT Green Building Council, The Green Project of New Orleans, Architects Designers and Planners for Social Responsibility- NY and served on the Building Committee of LEAP for Kids in New Haven, CT. In 2007, she founded New Haven Green Drinks to engage the New Haven community in regional environmental issues.
