I am a senior architect with more than 10 year work experience in internationally recognized firms.Over the last 6 years, in particular, I have worked in London and the United States as a senior project manager for International major projects in all phases of design.

Latest professional experience:
Currently employed at Moshe Safdie Architects in Somerville MA as Senior Architect and working on a mixed use development in Singapore.
While just previously from Jan 2012 to Sep 2012 I have been at Rockwell Group in NYC working on a medium size Retail project in Brooklyn and on a Penn Station renovation Study.
Relevant professional experience:
Among other architectural firms I have been working at Wilkinson Eyre Architects London (from Nov 2009 to Sep 2011) as responsible for the architectural coordination and design of a big commercial project in Cairo. During this same period I have been part as senior architect in two major competitions in China (Wuhan and Hainan) one of which successful and now being a live project in Wilkinson Eyre office.
Furthemore I collaborated with Foster and Partners for three years starting in March 2007.
During my experience in F+P I have been especially part of the team designing a project in Abu Dhabi called Central Market. I have been responsible for the coordination and design of the landscaped garden roof terraces covering an area of around 20.000 square meters. This project is now under construction.
Moreover in F+P I collaborated in other residential, commercial and public transportation projects around the world – Tripoli and Florence in particular - and I have always been dealing with international design teams.
Previous to the experience in London I have been working for more than three years in a Rome based office ABDR – a rising firm in the Italy - where I was responsible for materials research and details production. In the same office I have been part of the team designing the new High Speed Train Railway Station of Rome. I was responsible for the roof design, MEP and sustainable devices coordination. This project is now under construction and almost delivered.
Other professional experiences:
I have been volunteering and employed for two years in the biggest Italian environmental NGO Legambiente and following this ecological path I have been always involved with sustainability issues and sustainable design.
With Legambiente I have been part of the organization of two architectural ideas competition involving sustainable technologies: “Paesaggi del vento” and “Paesaggi Costieri”
Furthermore I have been teaching subjects related to sustainability and affordable movable architecture in several Italian institutions alike University of Rome and IED – Istituto Europeo del Design.
Skills:
I am experienced in many different design typologies and I have been working in all the design phases with special regard to Construction Documentation and detail production.
I have been doing client presentations, design team coordination on complex projects and I have been involved and responsible for the production of complex technical documents as specifications, deliverables etc.
I have a wide range of computer skills and, having used many softwares in the latest years, I have a flexible approach on the digital production and I am always up to date.
Education:
I studied Architecture in Rome “La Sapienza” and in Paris “Ecole d’architecture de Paris la Vilette” moreover I spent 6 months performing a research on case studies of sustainable urban renewal in Germany and in the Netherlands.
I graduated (MA equivalent) in Rome at the Department of Environmental studies “ITACA” discussing a project on “Urban renewals design with sustainable environmental technologies”. I attended a postgraduate Master on Architectural design of interactive spaces in the University of Rome La Sapienza with a grant sponsored by Sony-Ericsson.
