Translating the school’s priorities into a successful, master planning program that identifies and
develops real solutions to achieve its strategic goals.
Outline and develop modifications to Hillside campus master plan, South campus master plan and
future development possibilities of existing campuses based on the approved Master Plan,
current codes, building construction types, site restraints and costs.
Assess current existing conditions of all facilities incorporating findings into as-built drawings.
Prioritize systems (i.e. mechanical, electrical and structural) upgrades based on need and cost.
Work with outside vendors to outline plans to replace, overhaul, and/or integrate new
technologies into the existing facilities.
Coordinate on-going space planning projects and prioritizing them efficiently against deadlines,
budgets, execute and finalize construction/renovation projects.
Participate in design process/coordination/review meetings to identify space allocation
requirements.
Provides management/coordination in the planning, design & construction processes associated
with construction activities: job walks, field measurements and development of project scope and
review estimates with user groups.
Assist in acquisitions of new institutional properties including but not
limited to education space, student housing, and administrative space

detailing – design/develop details relating to special conditions prior to or during construction
coordination with consultants – contact and engage structural engineer, mechanical engineer and

Project lead design – design development of projects utilizing plans sections elevations and 3d
visualization with a goal of developing a final product to be approved by principal architect and

project management – respond to contractor RFI’s regarding the construction document set along
with advising and issuing construction details when required during the building process.
