Christopher Faulkner is a practicing Architect in Birmingham Alabama where he is presently working with the UAB on various renovation projects on campus. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from University of Alabama in Natural Sciences and Mathematics, a Master of Architecture from Tulane University, and Diploma Unit Seven at the Architectural Associate School of Architecture in London, England. His professional background blankets a range of building types from residential  to commercial and institutional. As project manager and designer, he recently completed Shelby Hall School of Engineering and Computer Sciences at the University of South Alabama and the Student Center at Alabama State University. Though quite involved in professional practice, he considers himself, first, a student of architecture. For him, Architecture is an invention to move the spirit of humankind. It exist only when it touches our emotion and stirs us to poetic thought.
