Andrew Hartness is the founding principal of HartnessVision. He received a BA in studio art from UNC-Chapel Hill, and a DESA with highest honors from the Ecole Speciale d'Architecture in Paris, France. Andrew joined Ateliers Jean Nouvel as architect and director of 3D development where he stayed for several years. In 2007 he completed a post-professional degree in urban design at Harvard Graduate School of Design. Since the inception of HartnessVision in 2009, Andrew has been working as instructor and guest critic in architecture, landscape, and visual theory at Harvard GSD, Wentworth and RISD
