Brian is an artist, architectural designer, fabricator, and entrepreneur who attempts to blur the boundaries between creative disciplines.
His business, Rust Brothers offers metalworking/design/fabrication/prototyping services to artists, architects, and retail clientele.
He earned an MArch from the University of Virginia as well as a BFA from Virginia Commonwealth University.
While in graduate school, Brian served as Construction Manager for ecoMOD4 a research and educational project at the University of Virginia that strives to create sustainable, prefab housing units in partnership with affordable housing organizations.
Brian has over two decades of hands-on experience in nearly every facet of both residential and commercial construction that heavily inform his work as a designer. Brian is a skilled metalworker with experience in both MIG and TIG welding.
Brian currently lives in Charlottesville, Virginia with his wife, Ozan, his two daughters, and Angus, the dog.
