VITAE Architecture, Job Captain

With five years of experience at VITAE, I was able to build a strong network of contacts with local manufacturers, structural engineers, developers and contractors in the Bay Area. I am also very familiar with California’s Building code, ADA regulations, and the LEED certification process. I have mastered quick turnaround of Construction Documents of office tenant improvements, interior design and FF&E coordination. Other duties included submitting drawings to the building department, plan check comments, answering RFI's, reviewing submittals, specification writing, coordination of interdisciplinary drawings, hands-on field-measuring and converting as-built drawings into CAD, and 3D modeling. In short, I make it work: I can draft a legible and productive set of construction documents to get the design approved by the building department, built by the contractor, and proceed to managing the administrating the construction process.
