My name is Adrian Mateos. I am a Spanish architect, licensed by the University of La Coruña with the Construction technology speciality.
The higher education degree of Architecture in Spain allows us to sign every part of a project, even structures, equipments and installations. This helps us being prepared to be an excellent link in means of connection between the design phase and the building phase, and also between design architects and engineers.
In recent years I have carried out a variety of different types of jobs, from land planning to furniture designs. This work experience has made me understand architecture as a phenomenon that encompasses all scales of design. In my opinion, considering architecture as a whole contributes to make better designs in every scale of design.
I have studied English and French in order to improve my language skills, because I understand that working in other professional and cultural context is an enriching experience for a young architect, and I also believe it could work in the same way for your company and team. That is why I would like very much to work abroad, as I have already done in Spain, France and China.
To conclude, I would like to say that I love my profession, I am a passionate architect who develops excellent relationships with colleagues. A professional who is keen to learn from others’ views and experiences and who very much enjoys team work and getting involved with any kind of multidisciplinary process or activity. I am hard-working, a good listener, a helpful, well-mannered, reliable, responsible, cheerful and patient individual who is very committed to his colleagues and to any job assigned.
Please accept this letter as an expression of my genuine interest in pursuing my career as an architect at your company. If you are interested in a dedicated professional who is keen on working hard and do his best, please do not hesitate to contact me. So as to finish, let me thank you for taking the time to review my application.
