I am a New York-based, registered Architect with more than 12 years of professional experience. After receiving my Bachelor of Architecture degree from Pratt Institute I began my career with a concentration on residential design. Since then, I have expanded my expertise to include commercial, civic, and university projects. From initial design concepts through final completion, I strive to serve each client with a rigorous focus on construction detailing, technical coordination, and construction administration.
At the core of my professional identity lies the sensibility of a craftsman, a deep care for materials, and a passion for drawing to explore ideas and communicate them to clients. I have framed houses, built furniture, and welded steel. I believe that architecture is an extension of nature into the constructed realm and through ceaseless observation of the physical environment I am mindful of the world experienced through all the senses. With these ideas I have developed an approach to design that defines spaces through shape and texture, and creates a sense of architectural presence that responds to shifting weather patterns and seasonal changes in light and shadow.
I believe that my most important social responsibility as an architect is the protection of the environment, for the benefit of all, through sustainable design. Currently I devote time to educating myself on green building topics and working towards LEED accreditation. I aspire towards impactful opportunities where I can apply my insights, precision, and commitment to an environmentally conscious present and future.
