About

Architectural Designer with six years of experience in an architectural firm. Project architect with
construction administration experience, and proficient in preparing all drawings required for presentation and construction. I am an individual who always pursues excellence in all phases of architectural design, thus acquiring valuable project experience and challenging my abilities to gain outstanding acheivements for myself and the company I represent. Being employed at a boutique architectural firm for a couple of years as an intern and having demonstrated a high level of efficiency, adaptability, leadership and keen attention to details, I was quickly promoted to project architect and became a valuable asset to my company. I am very self-motivated with an aptitude for learning and acquiring invaluable experience. I received my Master of Architecture after the successful completion of my thesis dissertation, with a strong interest in improving the urban landscape.

Education

University of South Florida, MArch, Architecture

Completed thesis dissertation at the University of South Florida in 2007 on "Mixed-use Market Place as Destination for Social Interaction". The challenge was to reinstate the importance of social gathering within the phenomenon of the "everyday life", by proposing a Mixed-use Market Place. The success of this study is a response to improve the social structure, increase diversity, and reinvigorate the activity spaces, which are currently absent within urban market centers. Ultimately, the proposal contributed to my abilities in designing places for people to live, work, and socially interact, and in creating efficient architectural designs that will have a positive impact on the environment. The proposal was highly encouraged by my mentors and professional associates, who believed that the design should be integrated into the real life context.
