My name is Reed Webster. I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan (B.S. of Architecture) and my Graduate studies at the Illinois Institute of Technology (Masters of Architecture). I worked for Powell/Kleinschmidt in downtown Chicago for the two years prior to my return to graduate school. My underlying focus within each project is the relationship of building to context. Social, environmental, and economic climates provide the backdrop for the creation of unique programmatic relationships and spatial occurrences. I am interested in architecture that is more extroverted than traditional building design, constantly looking beyond its limits while maintaining a rich palette of experiences within.
