About 

My name is Matthew Hucker and I am a graduate of CalPoly Pomona's Architecture program in 2010.  I am a very motivated worker who is always looking for a new challenge.  I am eager to learn more and more about architecture and am looking for the right place to further that knowledge and work towards obtaining my license.  I am very good at handling deadlines and juggling multiple tasks at a time in an efficient and detailed manner.  I am proficient in ArchiCAD, Sketchup, AutoCAD, 3DS Max, Adobe Creative Suite, Artlantis, Podium, and Microsoft Office.

Audrey Alberts Design, Junior Designer

Junior designer in charge of mainly sketchup modeling work to be presented to clients. Tasks include space planning, furniture layouts, and modeling those ideas in sketchup to be approved by the project heads.

Space planning included designing offices, a reception area, and a new conference room for Luskin Center at UCLA's Luskin School of Public Affairs as well as coordinating our design with the clients and project architects.

Sketchup modeling furniture and materials for a new 15,000sf house in Los Angeles. The sketchup model would be presented to the client's to get their approval on certain furniture pieces and layouts.

Rockefeller Partners Architects, Intern

Prepared construction documents for a variety of small projects including an apartment complex renovation. On site measurements were taken and then transferred to CAD drawings to be presented to the clients and the plan check department.

Other tasks included sketchup modeling and rendering a large museum proposal for Downtown LA. Worked directly with project architects to design the museums and model those ideas into sketchup to be presented to the client.

Tolkin and Associates, Intern

Internship required mostly model building for a large Westfield Shopping Center. The model was presented to the clients and then used for display in the Westfield Shopping Center.

Construction of concept models, research for upcoming projects, as well as presentations to principles of the firm were all a part of the internship as well.
