About

I have been actively engaged with the architecture design and construction industry since my graduation from the Catholic University of America in 2000.  I hold a BS in Architecture from CUA and M.Arch from Pratt Institute, and was honored with excellence in design at both institutions.  From 2000-2002, fresh out of undergraduate school, I worked on the award winning joint venture Four Seasons Hotel and Tower in Miami FL (B&A, Handel Associates).  Since that start, I have worked throughout the east coast on projects ranging from modest residential additions to commercial high-rises, including competitions and exhibition collaborations with Buro NY and Kol/Mac.

In 2006 I moved to LA, where I began working as a freelance designer and project manager, collaborating on local projects with the aim of continuing my interests in computational design, complex geometry and its construction.  Most notably, I worked with PATTERNS realizing the construction of the Prism Gallery façade and renovation on Sunset Blvd.  In furthering this focus I was also involved in the academic community teaching visual studies seminars and design studios at SCI-Arc, UCLA, and USC.

I am always seeking fresh avenues to implement design and development and look forward to adding my perspective and management skills to your project team.  I am committed to the ideas and importance of efficient and affordable construction and eagerly anticipate the opportunity to be part of sustainable construction.  I have been managing design and construction projects for 8 years often acting as the first line of contact for clients and owners alike.  With my professional experience including project management and organization as well as my design background, technical/ digital expertise, and familiarity with the building industry I believe I will be a great asset in the mission of your current team.
