Employment 

Newcastle Furniture Company (London) Ltd, Designer & Showroom Manager

Designer duties:

Design and sell bespoke furniture to the top end luxury residential market.
Produce presentation AutoCAD drawings (plans, elevations & sections) for clients and architects.
Present ideas to clients.
Produce AutoCAD working drawings and plumbing and electrical specifications for manufacturers and subcontractors.
Project manage high-profile design projects.
Liaise with architects, interior designers, builders and subcontractors on schedules and deliveries.
Oversee and proof all AutoCAD drawings and documents created by junior members of staff.
Design and create marketing leaflets for display in concierge outlets and high-end stores.

Showroom Manager duties:

Pay suppliers for goods bought.
Update cash flow forecasts on a weekly basis for the London and Newcastle showrooms and factory.
Assist accountant and Director with quarterly profit information.
Invoice Clients when projects are completed.
Monitor all client projects and activities, update payment schedules on a daily basis.
Order appliances and liaise with suppliers to coincide with furniture delivery dates.
Collate sales charts and new enquiries information for weekly sales meetings.
Provide director with suggestions and reports on new sales strategies.
