About

Natalie Rebuck, AIA, is a dedicated architect whose devotion to design extends from her vintage wardrobe to architectural details.  Her personable demeanor and passionate spirit complement over seven years managing and detailing complex institutional and residential projects.  Natalie’s skill in 3D modeling and graphic design helps bring even the most complex design ideas to life for her clients while her attention to quality ensures technical proficiency on every project.  Aside from design, management and technical skills, Rebuck’s research interests focus on how urban forms, functions and designs create extraordinary moments and chance happenings in peoples’ lives.  When she’s not working the latest 3D model, she can be found exploring the city or working on her fashion blog Exquisitus Fashion.
Before partnering with Carolyn Hinger, AIA, to form HiRe Design, Rebuck was the Project Architect and Associate at Kliment Halsband Architects where she worked on several notable buildings.  The renovation of the Doty Building at SUNY Geneseo includes thoughtful design features, which integrate modern and sustainable systems such as a geothermal heating and cooling, green products and materials, a greywater system and pervious paving to reduce stormwater runoff.  As Project Manager, she was an integral participant in the design, managed the documentation process, and oversaw construction. Rebuck was also the Designer and Project Manager for the much publicized Fashion Incubator for The Council of Fashion Designers of America as well as giving tours of the space for Open House New York in the fall.  Other notable projects in her portfolio include the Old Observatory at Vassar College, The Washington Mews at New York University, and Avalon Morningside Park in New York City. Natalie presented at the 2011 Tri-State AIA Conference, was Coordinator for the 2012 New York Foundation for the Arts Bootstrap Festival, CANstruction team captain, and volunteers for the Architectural League.  She is a LEED accredited professional and holds a Bachelor of Architecture and Environmental Design Degree from Ball State University.  Rebuck is licensed in New York State.
