Inês Alves

Oporto, PT

I'm a young portuguese architect and researcher. I'm finalizing a master thesis on Public Space-Art and Design at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto, that has by theme the public space typologies, promoted by the suburbs expansion, as well as the emerged necessity to find relation between the traditional discipline-fields.
I already had the opportunity to publish some papers and to present a few communications in congresses about my research and recently applied to a PhD program to explore the public space potentialities, as a palimpsest of the nowadays mixed cultures, as well as the creation of a network of curatorial practices, in a trans-discipline perspective.
