Eldorado, Inc, Portland, Oregon , Architectural Designer

》As Project Designer, worked with a small team through design of a Bicycling Amenity Center at Red Sands Park in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Assisted Project Architect with documentation. Developed script to manipulate and document a challenging geometry in Revit.
》Led design and documentation of an Underpass Zoetrope at the Sports Boulevard in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Developed parametric 3D models to finely control geometry and affect hundreds of unique 3D materials. Developed script to automate cameras positions and rendering animations.
》Assisted artists Sans Facon with design of the "Interlace" at Red Sands Park in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Used parametric modeling to rationalize geometry and analyze design for construction feasibility.
》Assisted with the documentation of a Historic Masonry Building in St. Louis, Missouri. Using a point cloud provided by the client, developed script to analyze cloud and create reference mesh geometry in Revit.
》Provided support with Design Technology -- both software and hardware -- to project teams.
》Provided an extensive amount of physical modeling to project teams.

Bora Architecture & Interiors, Portland, OR, US, Architect

》As Project Designer, worked with a small team through design and documentation of the Net-Zero Energy Classroom Building at Creekside Community High School in Tigard, Oregon. Used energy modeling to inform early design decisions -- comparing passive energy reduction strategies, analyzing access to daylight, and balancing energy use with potential energy generated by photovoltaic panels. Continued through Construction Administration. In partnership with PSU, conducted a Post-Occupancy Evaluation focused on thermal comfort of occupants.
》Assisted with design and documentation of the Auditorium and Performing Arts Classrooms at Mountainside High School in Beaverton Oregon. Used acoustic simulations to evaluate room geometry, material placement and properties, and resulting reflections. Developed parametric model to explore textures and evaluate sound diffusion.
》Led design and documentation of the GIX Screen at UW's Global Innovation Exchange in Bellevue, Washington. Worked with fabricators at Superfab using digital-only coordination, resulting in a significant reduction in cost and time.
》Assisted BIM Manager with Revit template management and developing small scripts to improve existing workflows or enable new ones.
》Assisted Specification Writer with researching products and materials, and evaluating their impact on the climate and environment.
》Provided Building Performance Modeling and Environmental Impact Assesments to project teams.
》Managed the Model Shop -- maintained tools, purchased materials, led safety workshops and tool-specific training.
