Winner of the international workshop - SUSTAINABLE ARCHITECTURE - ONE POSSIBLE ARCHITECTURE, Award
The task of the workshop was to develop a kindergarten in one of the neighborhoods in the north part of Varna city, Bulgaria. The project had to be made under the laws of the sustainability - to create spaces with natural controlled climate and a perfect atmosphere for the children. There were two phases - first one, top 5 (out of 32) projects had to be selected, and then one of those had to be selected to be build on the actual site (overall this was a project that was given by the municipality). But the lack of actual financing and the economic crisis that was ongoing at that time, the municipality had to take the decision not to construct this project for now.
Our project was one of those top 5, and we received a prize for that achievement.
