Experience Summary
Six (6) years full time experience in architecture design and development, planning and construction administration. Four (4) years of experience as an architectural intern. Five (5) years’ experience using Revit and currently Revit Coordinator. Completed NCARB requirements and currently working on taking my ARE’s.


Project Experience
Pathways To Technology Magnet High School, Hartford, CT
Revit Consultant, Design Team


4-Story, $38 million. 84,000 SF Magnet High School for Goodwin College and the City of Hartford. This is a new construction project that will be a prototype, technology driven education model for the Hartford School District. The school will have advanced science and technology labs, from Nanotechnology to Rapid Prototyping, as well as core sciences, Physics, Biology and Chemistry laboratories. Other technology based features will be Digital Music and Video Production labs, with advanced computer labs.
The building itself with be a study in the use of advanced technologies—high efficiency mechanical and electrical systems, smart sunshades and water managements systems, and alternative energy systems, all of which will have an advanced monitoring system that will be on display as a learning tool for the school. This project is going for a LEED Silver certification.


Yonkers Charter School of Education Excellence, Yonkers, NY
Design Team, Revit Coordinator


28,000 SF, $8 million addition to an existing middle school. This addition will have classrooms, administration offices; various students educational support spaces and a gymnasium.
Responsibilities included continued project development through the construction document stage, detail development, consultant coordination and quality control.


Bronx Lighthouse Charter School, Bronx, NY
Design Team, Revit Coordinator


32,600 SF, $12 million high school addition. This is a 7-story urban in-fill project that consists of classrooms, science classrooms, school administration offices, kitchen and athletic support spaces.
Took over the construction document development for the project and helped with the coordination of all Revit related models with all consultants. Responsibilities included weekly model updates with all consultants, and distribution of work to the other members of the design team (2 other members).


Ft. Bliss Warrior Unit Transition Facility & Soldier Family Assistance Cent, Ft. Bliss, TX
Design Team, Construction Administration and Project Team


33,000 SF, $24 million office building (Warrior Unit Transition Facility) which houses the base battalion commander and company officers. The main function of the building is the preparation of soldiers that are to be deployed to various theaters around the world.
28,000 SF, $18 million Soldier Family Assistance Center which has offices for base personal used to assist families of soldiers. The facility also as a day care center and outdoor play area. The facility also has a large gathering space to be used for social events on the base. The building will have LEED Silver certification.
Responsibilities included working with the Project Manager on the development of construction documents and details, 3D renderings for publication. Helped coordinated design efforts with the Army Corp of Engineers and project consultants. I was the lead in all construction administration duties.


Ft Hood Warrior in Transition Unit Operations Facility, Ft. Hood, TX
Lead Designer, Construction Administration


32,000 SF, $28 million office building which will house the battalion commander and company officers, as well as base counselors and support personal to assist soldiers transitioning from military service abroad to life back at home. The building will have LEED Silver certification.
Duties included my first time as lead designer on a project. Developed project from Schematic Design through Construction Documents and into Construction Administration. Also coordinated all Revit models with project consultants and provided weekly project updates to the Army Corp of Engineers. Developed all 3D renderings for use in marketing and publications for the project.

*The rendering that was used for this project has been chosen by Autodesk for use as the splash screen for Revit MEP 2012.


Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, In-line Baggage System, Phoenix, AZ
Construction Administration and Project Team


This project was the design and development of the automated baggage handling system for Terminals 2, 3 and the US Airways concourses of Terminal 4. The extent of the project was the design, planning and coordination of spaces to house the baggage conveyer systems and scanning equipment, which included two (2) buildings outside of the main terminals, as well as overall construction administration of the entire project.
Worked directly with the Project Manager on various Construction Administration duties, which included reviewing shop drawings, coordination with consultants on supplemental submissions of drawing sets and creating various operational documents and drawings outlining FAA requirements for the baggage handling system.


Dallas-Fort Worth Terminal Modernization – Phasing, Dallas, TX
Design Team and Project Team


1.4-million+ SF, $1.2 billion terminal renovation project. Focus was on the developing and implementing the overall phasing documentation for Terminals A, B, and C. Worked with each airline, DFW airport administration personal and the entire design team to coordinate the construction phases in order to minimize the downtime of  the close to 68 aircraft gates across the three (3) terminals.
Duties included the development of Phasing diagrams outlining the sequence of gate closures, construction time lines and passenger circulation. Also helped to coordinate Revit models with the rest of the project team in our Dallas office.


Sacramento International Airport Modernization Program, Sacramento, CA
Designer-Garage, Design Team, Project Team and Construction Administration


New 6800 vehicle, 1.2 million SF, $123 million, 6-level parking facility with two (2) enclosed pedestrian bridges connecting the new garage and existing garage (with a new circulation core) to the new 250,000 SF terminal. The project also included a 12,000 SF cooling tower yard adjacent to the new garage. The entire project was approximately $2.3 billion.


My responsibilities on this project included, being the designer for the new parking garage, pedestrian bridges and cooling tower yard.  Also, coordinated the development of a new airport site plan with the project team, civil and landscape consultants. Developed a new site plan for the Air Traffic Control Tower which involved coordination with various project consultants as well following special FAA security requirements. I was the in-charge of the specifications for the Public Safety Building. I also worked on various Construction Administration duties throughout the project.


Arizona Biomedical Collaborative I, Phoenix, AZ
Design Team and Project Team


4-story, 85,600 SF, $33 million, cast-in-place research facility for the University of Arizona and bioinformatics programs for Arizona State University.
Del Webb School of Construction – Arizona State University, Tempe, AZ
Designer


This conceptual project was a feasibility study for the school in order to procure funds for the projects development and construction. The features included a photovoltaic glass curtain wall system, and alumni “canyon” and an outdoor classroom-exhibition space.

Worked as a Revit Consultant an a high school project for the firm. This was a 3-month contract and was asked to become a full time employee but due to the travel distance, I had to decline the offer.
