Mr. Jacobs is a professional associate member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and is the 2009-2010 California North President of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID). He received his degree in Architecture from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México in Mexico City.
Jerry Jacobs Design is an award winning small international practice specializing in High-End Residential design. Jerry Jacobs Design has offered both interior and architectural design services, completing a wide range of projects including private residences and villas, apartments, boutiques, restaurants, clubs, arcades and lobbies.
Mr. Jacobs personally oversees each project from planning to completion, combining American technology and European flair with local know-how. His projects have been featured in numerous publications including Architectural Digest, House Beautiful, Sunset, Shelter and Vogue.
Jerry started as an Architect in Mexico City where he devised the look for the ACA JOE retail stores, which became popular and launched in the USA, where he completed over 200 stores in 30 states, before the company folded. Then he went into Residential Interiors and immediately won the “Ten Best Showhouse rooms in America” award from House Beautiful for his room at the San Francisco Decorators Showcase.
