Julia Lucas Bolukh is a fifth year student at Syracuse University's School of Architecture born and raised in the Detroit metropolitan area. At Syracuse, she is enrolled in the Renee Crown Honors College, has previously served as an Architecture Ambassador and Peer Advisor, and is a current School of Architecture Student Mentor. She is also involved with the Syracuse chapter of NOMAS, and is a graphic designer for student-led publication TENDER Magazine. She has studied abroad in London, where she was able to conduct survey trips to Bath, Madrid, Amsterdam, Rotterdam, and Copenhagen, and was one of two students selected to represent Syracuse in their inaugural semester-long exchange with Ewha Womans University in Seoul, South Korea.
Julia has two summers of internship experience with Corgan’s Aviation team in Houston, Texas. Aside from her architectural studies, she expresses herself creatively through dance, fashion, and poster design.
