Hi, I'm Dibya.
I am part of the graduating class of 2024 from California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo with a passion for innovative design and sustainable practices. In addition to my Bachelor's of Architecture, my academic journey has equipped me with a solid foundation in architectural theory, design principles, and hands-on experience a variety of software, tools and equipment. I thrive in dynamic environments where creativity and problem-solving are key.
During my time at Cal Poly, I was able to work on diverse projects that honed my skills in design and to shape who I wanted to be as a designer. This further allowed me to find and explore my interests in sustainable architectural practices as well as digital fabrication techniques, and how they can be applied to both the design and visualization process.
I wish to continue exploring renewable energy systems and how they can be integrated into architecture, both past and future, and the built environment. I believe that through this process of utilizing these systems, we can increase the quality of the built environment for everyone, regardless of the backgrounds they come from. It is through making the built environment better that we can start building towards a better future for the coming generations. My goal is to contribute to a forward-thinking firm where I can leverage my technical expertise and fresh perspective to make a meaningful impact.
In my free time, I enjoy working on my own personal projects such as crocheting and other textile based crafts.
