I am an associate architect with six months of professional experience in technical drafting, polished diagraming, analytical research where I produced polished maps out of ArcGIS, and project management. I have completed six years in an educational setting where I developed adaptive and parametric families in Revit, documented three historical and nostalgic buildings, and delivered projects with a high standard of care through a social justice lens.

I worked primarily as a mentor and leader in all of my roles in these organizations and as a graduate assistant for both teaching and research positions within the college. I am thankful for the support I've had throughout my education from my mentors, Kiwana McClung, Kari Smith, Ashlie Boelkins, Corey Saft, Olivia Pontiff, Alyce Deshotels, Liane Hancock, Thomas Cline, Thomas Sammons and many others throughout my time there including Dean Joseph Moore who have rooted for me throughout my collegiate career and who still do as I grow as a professional.
In graduate school, I pushed the needle with my thesis, Integration Campus, which aimed to help cultivate generational wealth while creating a safety net for all to bridge intentional gaps in U.S. systems formed by structural racism and reinforced through modern-day, highly unregulated capitalism.

Much of my work in Undergrad is comprised of social justice architecture. Through each design project, I found a way to advocate for an underserved community to bring more equity to our environment where the effects of systemic racism are still seen and felt today in multiple ways.

NOMA Future Faces Fellowship, Award
Receiving this award was a huge honor. I wrote about my experience in leadership for the UL Lafayette NOMAS Chapter and reflected this experience in my resume and portfolio along with explaining how my advocacy didn't stop here, but expanded into my collegiate and city wide community. I didn't realize my hard work leading organizations in college, and participating in community-wide efforts could help me land a summer internship with a very prestigious firm, Ennead Architects, located in New York City. It is incredible how hard work will bring you places you never dreamed you could go before.
