As a recent graduate with a Bachelor's of Architecture and a Minor in Ethnic Studies from California Polytechnic State University, I am now based in Los Angeles, ready to embark on my professional journey in architecture and design! My academic achievements include being a Cal Poly Scholar and a six-time Dean's List recipient. I have honed my skills in various architectural software including Rhino 3D, Grasshopper, Revit, and AutoCAD, and fabrication techniques such as 3D printing, laser-cutting, and woodwork. My professional experience includes an architectural internship at Gregg Maedo + Associates, where I assisted in drafting architectural plans and conducting site visits.
Beyond my technical qualifications, I am deeply passionate about diversity and inclusion in architecture. This interest is reflected in my involvement as a CAED Student Council Representative, a Fifth Year Student Committee Studio Representative, and my role as Treasurer for the CAED DEI Committee. I have been actively involved in organizing exhibitions, facilitating discussions on diversity initiatives, and promoting lectures on equity and inclusion within the architectural community. As a bilingual professional fluent in both English and Spanish, I am currently looking to transition into an Entry-Level Architectural Designer role in the Los Angeles area.
