About

Hi there! My name's Max. I am a recent graduate from the University of California, Los Angeles. I received 2 degrees, a B.S. in cognitive science and a B.A. in architectural studies from UCLA's school of Architecture and Urban Design. I am eager to use my experience in architecture and cognitive science to design with human's best interest in mind. With interest in design, psychology, and research, I would love to work on projects which center the human experience and aim to optimize enjoyment of daily life. In addition to my architectural work, I have experience in user experience and interface design, social media management, and marketing.

Awards

Best Work - 2023-2024 School Year, Honorable Mention

Granted by UCLA school of Architecture and Urban Design. Recognition of my group's work for the studio "Off-Campus Living" taught by Benjamin Freyinger. This project was to adapt an existing apartment building in downtown LA into a residential UCLA Art school expansion. Our project consisted of 4 towers twisting and connecting with one another in a dynamic arrangement. Utilizing shafts, elevators, and stairs for circulation of people, light, and air, we aimed to design a space that would inspire artists and welcome the Los Angeles nature inside the facility.
