Designing, prototyping, and construction are all processes that I practice on a daily basis. Whether refurbishing flea market electronics, or engineering a wooden etch-a-sketch microscope slide viewer, I regularly find myself obsessed with solving design problems and learning new creative disciplines. I have been sewing, crafting, and tinkering since I was a young child which has allowed me to develop a hands-on understanding about how materials interact on a functional and aesthetic level. Academically, I earned a Minor in Anthropology which I attribute in helping me form an unbiased and inquisitive view on how different cultures and societies function over time. I like to fold this anthropological mindset into my architectural design process as much as possible.
