My name is Ewelina Mita. I am based in Fukuoka, Japan. My professional title awarded at Gdansk University of Technology (Poland) is ‘Master of Science, Engineer, Architect’. I graduated in the ‘Architecture and Urban Planning’ discipline. I have ARB-recognised Part I and Part II qualifications in Architecture discipline (United Kingdom). I have over 4 years of postgraduate working experience as an ‘Architectural Assistant Part II’ gained in Poland and the United Kingdom. I have a ‘Spouse of Japanese National Visa’, hence why I am permitted to work in Japan without restrictions.
I was continuously working in the profession from the time of my graduation. I got familiar with all design stages. My recent employer was AHR London in the UK (2 years). I worked mainly on big scale residential and mixed-use developments. My scope of work included finalizing all design packs for RIBA Stage 4 for tender (Technical Design) and developing projects to Stage 5 (Manufacturing and Construction), 3D modeling in Revit, meetings with design team and clients, coordination between disciplines, administration, assisting urgent tasks, occasionally site visits. Previously, I was employed at OPEN Architecture, Sevenoaks, UK (1 year 6 months), where I have been working on RIBA Stages 1-5 (Preparation and Briefing, Concept Design, Spatial Coordination, Technical Design, Manufacturing and Construction). Beforehand, I have undertaken an Architectural Internship at Mangera Yvars Architects London Office where I worked on the largest projects in the office, helping with all range of tasks related with both architecture and interior design. I have also collaborated in other business related tasks. I have included in the portfolio some of my work results from Polish architecture studios as well (mainly project of a hotel with an aquapark and residential).
Additionally to the university course and office work, I was also developing myself in different ways. Such as being an active member of ‘Universal Design’ Science Club, Volunteer at Architectural Festival ‘Open House’, attending architectural events and numerous certified CPDs. My recently developed skill is photorealistic visualisation in 3ds Max and Corona (I have completed 146h professional course).
I am ambitious, active, passionate about architecture and design, detailed, trustworthy and kind. I like team working, however I am able to handle the tasks given to me by myself as well if required. I adapt to the environment quickly, being happy by developing new skills, facing new challenges, meeting team members and sharing valuable experience. I do not plan to stop developing and improving myself.
