Architecture has evolved into an art form of subjectivity, creativity,
and beauty. It can affect people and other living things in unimaginable ways.
I am fascinated by how architecture utilizes environment, society, and cultural elements to influence how people react to their senses and identity. The world is a better place because of the variety of memories created by architectural spaces.
My passion for architecture began at the early age of 4. I spent
considerable time standing on a child-sized table, stacking Lego pieces on each
other until my structures were much taller than I was. Eventually, I wanted
to design buildings like the ones I built from Legos. This early recognition
stuck with me in high school when I was fortunate to have access to a college
course about architecture. I experienced a mix of math and art, which
solidified my early interest in architecture.
At Michael Graves Architecture & Design, I learned to excel at time
management, discipline, and team collaboration. In 2016, I earned my
bachelor’s degree in interior design; in 2022, I earned my master’s degree in
architecture. This complimentary degree has helped immensely in my career.
Primarily, I am interested in combining art, fashion, and photography
into projects with international elements. I want to celebrate diversity by
combining culture with architecture.
