I was born in Chicago, Illinois, but grew up mostly in Jersey City, New Jersey. My father is from Chile, and My mother is from the U.S. (Native American). From a young age, I have had a fascination with big machines and buildings. I found the different shapes and textures you can find on them to be interesting. This interest and like for architecture grew and I majored in architecture for high school at High Tech High School. During my summers I attended different architecture and design programs at the Center For Architecture in New York. Through the summer program Survival Homes I discovered my interest for sustainability.
I am a second year architecture student at the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) aiming to receive a B. Arch degree and a minor in Environmental Studies in Sustainability. I have an associate's degree in Mathematics and Science General from Hudson County Community College (HCCC) and I am looking to become a sustainable architect in the future.
During my free time, I enjoys drawing; it helps me relax. I also like to play the piano and do cross fit.
