Garth Britzman is an architectural designer and relentless builder.  With experience in theme park design, experiential + entertainment, hospitality, and residential sectors, Britzman has worked on major international design projects while balancing more nuanced ventures in fabrication, product design, and occasional art installations.  

Britzman received a Master's degree in Architecture from UCLA focusing on design-forward digital fabrication methods. Working in close proximity to construction and fabrication has provided valuable expertise in delivering bespoke projects that honor both traditional and digital craftsmanship.

With an insatiable curiosity, Britzman is a dynamic individual passionate about unraveling the world through travel, food, and recreation. As a versatile designer, fabricator, and inventor, he crafts both objects and spaces infused with joy and delight. Grounded in an appreciation for architecture, his work seamlessly blends aesthetic innovation with functional design. I led the design of a new modular home venture. I supported the development and specification of the construction systems through design, prototyping, and production phases. I coordinated consultants, tracked progress, created precise 3D models for manufacturing, and worked with the construction team to ensure quality fabrication and an appealing design language.

I collaborated with a multi-disciplinary team developing scenic design packages, show set packages, masterplans, and technical documentation for international themed entertainment spaces and theme parks. I coordinated ride systems, lighting, accessibility, scenic, and special effects.

As an intern at this design/build firm, I operated the office’s 3-axis CNC machine to fabricate bespoke objects blending digital fabrication with traditional craftsmanship. I contributed to the design of numerous projects including retail displays, art installations, houses, and new inventions.
