My name is Dharshini K. Moodley. I am currently registered as a Candidate Architectural Technologist through SACAP in South Africa, with over five years of experience from two local architecture firms in Durban, South Africa.
I obtained a bachelor's degree in architectural studies, majoring in design and technology, from the University of KwaZulu-Natal and I completed a higher certificate in project management through Mancosa. Additionally, I have obtained certificates in TEFL/ TESOL teaching, AutoCAD Essentials, and Adobe Photoshop.
Throughout my career so far, I have worked in different types of sectors. These sectors and projects include the following categories: commercial, residential, industrial, shopfitting, ECDs, clinics, banks, interior designing, warehousing, car dealership, service station, low-cost housing, etc.
At my current and prior firms, I have had to handle projects with quick turnaround times and work with Revit, AutoCAD, Lumion, Photoshop, Adobe Indesign and PowerPoint. I am currently expanding my software knowledge in Archicad and Google Sketchup. I am a fast learner and looking to expand my skills in interior design, green design, sustainability, architectural design and technical draughting.
