About

I am a Registered Architect in the State of New York and a LEED Accredited Professional in Building Design and Construction with 13+ years of experience. As a Project Architect, I led the historic restoration and conversion of Lower East Side’s iconic Jarmulowsky Bank Building into the award-winning boutique hotel ‘Nine Orchard’. I effectively managed the project through all stages of design and construction, ensuring its successful completion. The project entailed adding a new building and expanding on the roof of the existing structure, which holds significance as both a local and federal landmark. I collaborated closely with the client to develop the design, while also serving as the primary point of contact for coordinating with consultants and contractors in a hands-on manner. Currently, I am leading the design efforts for the conversion of a decommissioned Staten Island Ferry into a vibrant cultural hub.

I have delivered design presentations at public hearings for AHJ organizations such as the City Planning Commission, Landmark Preservation Commission, Community Boards, and Department of Buildings. As a Lower East Side resident and a passionate advocate for NYC’s historic architecture, I serve as a member of the Board of Advisors at Lower East Side Preservation Initiative (LESPI) on a volunteer basis.
