Currently, William is the President of Architecture Design and Construction for Virage Creative.  In this role he has been supporting several hospitality companies with their franchise documentation and developing new brands. Prior to creating Virage Creative,  William was the Vice President, Global Shared Technical Services, Architecture and Design at Hilton Hotels Corporation, where he completed an extensive technology effort to automate and unify all Hilton Brand Standards, Design Information, Submittal / Review Procedures, Vendor Relations program and integrated these new systems with the existing Waiver programs, Property Improvement Planner, Quality Assurance Inspection program and Overall Property Performance program. Essentially creating a navigation platform aimed at the tracking, reporting and prediction of hotel approvals, starts and openings for New Builds, Conversions and Renovations.

Currently, consulting and advising multiple Real Estate Investment Companies, Hospitality Management Companies, and several leading Fortune 500 companies that have products and/or physical assets as part of their operations or brands.

Currently developing the required franchise documentation to assist owners in constructing brand approved solutions which also includes integration of various technologies and programs to help the franchisor track and monitor development activities, waivers and the approval process. Additionally, coordinating with the Virage Creative team to develop several Brand Guides, Brand Marketing tool books and helping create New Brand Concepts within the Hotel, Retail, Restaurant and Housing Industries.

Directed the team responsible for development, integration, management, and publishing of all design and construction, documentation globally. Developed all programs, processes, and web-based solutions that support Brand Standards; Resource Libraries; Prototype Designs; Design Submittals; Vendor Relations; Exterior Identification (Signage); Property Information; Development Tracking; Area Programs; Operations Support System and Global Fire Life Safety Administration.
Facilitated and developed global AD&C programs, increasing efficiencies, improving communications, and assembling reliable information for owners, industry partners, and Hilton team members.

Hyatt Hotels, Chicago, IL, US, Vice President Product Design & Construction

Created best-in-class franchise solutions for a world-recognized hospitality brand. Initiated original ideation and collaborated on domestic and international Hyatt Place and Hyatt House Brands development. Concepted each brand, market research, positioning, property analysis (AmeriSuites & Summerfield Suites Properties), mock-up room development, F&B invention, and operational staffing models. Developed new prototypes, standards, marketing, legal agreements, and technology programs.
 Launched Hyatt Place, converting 62 company owned AmeriSuites and another 30 existing franchise properties globally.
 Enabled brand to develop cost-effective program for Owned and Franchise operators, leading to 120+ locations within first 2 years.
 Launched Summerfield Suites brand with 20 existing conversions and 10 new builds over a similar timeframe, later changing name to Hyatt House shortly after 30 openings.
