My name is Vivina Joseph. I obtained my master's degree from the University for the Creative Arts in Canterbury, UK. I worked in London for over a year until my visa permitted it, after which I returned to India. I immediately became involved in a commercial hotel project, which was successfully handed over in December 2023.
In my previous roles as an architectural assistant, I have gained valuable experience in handling client processes, providing design support, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver successful projects ranging from loft conversions to expansive luxury health clubs, I have honed my skills in delivering innovative architectural solutions.. My proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, coupled with advanced skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, allows me to effectively communicate design ideas and produce high-quality graphic presentations.
As a self-motivated team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills, I am confident in my ability to work effectively with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders at all levels. I am proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn, and I thrive in dynamic environments where creativity and innovation are encouraged
Moreover, I have a strong interest in sustainability and sustainable design practices, which I believe are crucial considerations in today's architectural landscape.
My design philosophy revolves around context-sensitive and sustainable principles. Notably, my master's thesis project, focusing on a network of water towers and boat ports to address backwater tourism issues in Alappuzha, Kerala, India, received an honourable mention during Design Week. Throughout my education and career, I have actively pursued opportunities to incorporate sustainable design principles, energy-efficient systems, and eco-friendly materials into my projects.
