About

Tamar Plotzker, is curious, resourceful and ambitious. She received her B. Arch from The Bernard and Anne Spitzer School of Architecture and was part of the NYC-wide honors program known as Macaulay Honors College.

She enjoys nothing like a breath of forest air and particularly admires the tree, Betula papyrifera, colloquially called the paper birch, whose hatched bark is constantly shedding and simultaneously regenerating, resulting in depth, texture, and color on its elegantly slim trunk. This is emblematic of Tamar's fascination of process, and “aliveness” which she strives to express through her work.
