Nate Ehrlich is a current graduate student pursuing a Master of Architecture at Rice University. Prior to moving to Houston, Texas, he graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture. While attending the University of Minnesota, he studied at the Danish Institute for Study Abroad in Copenhagen. With over five years of professional expertise in architecture and design building, his research initiatives encompass a symposium and exhibition on Dutch Complex Housing, which has been showcased across North America, Europe, and Asia.
Formerly an Associate at SALA Architects in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Nate primarily contributed to single-family residential projects that achieved various awards. His volunteer endeavors encompass the construction of the Aardvark Art Shed in Saint Paul, Minnesota’s Western Sculpture Park, which was published in the 2020 May/June Issue of Sculpture Magazine.
Beyond architecture, Nate’s passions extend to backpacking and printmaking. His achievements in the latter field have been recognized in the University of Pennsylvania’s Department of City and Regional Planning Student Journal, Panorama
