While interning at SOM I worked on regular design exercises, model making, and visualization tasks of large scale biotech buildings in San Francisco. I was involved in coordination meetings with consultants and package production for clients.

During my internship at the San Francisco Bureau of Architecture, I have completed tasks like producing the As-Builts drawings from the San Francisco Main Library, by taking dimensions during site visits and drawing the information in Revit. I have worked as well on the design concept and production of the Proposal Package of the Ocean View Library. Other projects required tasks like producing renderings through Enspace, setting up information packages for clients, or coordinating with the Bureau of Landscape to assess site conditions.

During the summer internship at SmithGroup, I assisted the Science + Tech and Senior living departments with several projects. I was assigned tasks like producing detailed drawings of the Lawrence Berkeley National Lab's lobby area. Other projects involved building models for client meetings, participating in the concept design by producing several design options, or processing RFIs by updating changes on the Revit file.

During my internship at Facilities Design & Construction, I have been assigned tasks like updating the district's design standards, contributing and coordinating design ideas with constructors, architects, and engineers, update the design of schools' cafeterias, classrooms layout, and playgrounds. I have as well worked on red-lining construction documents and assisted with supervising fieldwork while doing field reports.

Awards 

Student Panelist - Space Architecture, Nomination

I was honored to be one of the 9 student panelists at the 50th INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON ENVIRONMENTAL SYSTEMS INC (ICES). This year's topic was related to humans living and working in extreme environments with applications inside or outside of terrestrial or outer space habitats or vehicles. My project was under the category of space architecture.

UC Berkeley T.Y Lin Price in Architecture and Engineering, Award

The T.Y. Lin Prize is a merit-based award that supports specific research proposals to study some aspect of architecture with a strong engineering component. My thesis proposal is based on additive manufacturing for habitable structures in 0-gravity environments, ie. Mars.
