My name is James Barbier and I am a student architect at Syracuse University’s School of Architecture. I am studying to complete my Bachelor of Architecture degree and my Sustainable Construction Management Minor for May 2025. I am originally from Fort Collins, Colorado, although I was born and raised in Wyoming, and hold dual citizenship with Great Britain
My interests in architecture deals with sustainability and the relationship of landscape and architecture, especially questioning the role of architecture and the built environment within the natural landscape. I strongly believe that my architecture designs show my ability for creative thinking and my keen mentality for learning more about the world around us and the impacts architecture makes on both the natural and built environment.
