I'm an interior designer in NYC. I'm very passionate about modern, organic design and architecture. I am particularly interested in sustainable biophilic design.
My favourite design styles are eclectic and mid-century modern. I also enjoy some aspects of maximalism and art deco. In my free time, I like to work on personal projects in which I can explore these styles and study their history.
What inspires me as a designer is comfort and belonging. I believe comfort is more important than anything else when it comes to my work because there are so many places I've been to that it's obvious that comfort wasn't considered in the design. And there are times when I feel like I don't belong in a space because of the way it was designed. Comfort and belonging are important to me because no space should be uncomfortable or exclusive.

Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, NY, US, BArch, Interior Design
Pratt's Interior Design program is very concept- and research-based, and most of the program is more architecture driven. Major classes included design studio, technical drawing, material analysis and rendering. Design studio projects covered residential, commercial and hospitality design. I took elective classes including woodworking, furniture design, and science fiction writing. Additionally, I attended Pratt's Pre-College program in 2017.
