Born and raised in Yantai, China, Alex is a designer based in Los Angeles, working directly with Thom Mayne at Morphosis/Stray Dog Café. He graduated from Yale University (M.Arch, 23) and the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (B.Sci, 19). Before Morphosis, he practiced architecture with OMA, Pentagram, SOM, and Gensler, with projects built in Milan, Paris, New York, and Beijing. He was also a player at Yale Table Tennis Club.
