Chung-Ying Hor is a Taiwanese architect. He holds a Master of Science in Advanced Architectural Design from Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation, and a Bachelor of Architecture from National Chen Kung University in Taiwan. He has four years of experience from JJP Architects & Planners in Taiwan, and has acquired the qualification for registered architect in Taiwan.
Chung-Ying won the Silver Prize of HKIA Cross-Strait Architectural Design Awards in Hong Kong in 2017 and won the First Prize of Planning Category and Special Prize for Environmental Sustainability of Team 20 Architecture and Urban Planning Competition in 2016.
Chung-Ying explores his design philosophy, Controlled Chaos, regarding architecture, context, and users as symbiosis organisms throughout his academic projects and his professional growth, focusing on mechanisms of diversity-generating in architectural order.
