I was born and raised in South Korea, where I began my architecture studies at Ajou University. Seeking to challenge myself, I transferred to the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT) in Chicago, although I had no previous experience living abroad.

The following three years at IIT were challenging and often difficult; however, these circumstances only fueled my passion and resolve. I persevered and consistently strived to give more than was expected of me. This dedication was acknowledged as I was nominated for the Openhouse exhibition each semester for my architectural and academic achievements. In addition to my studies, I was also a committed member of the university's football team, demonstrating my ability to balance different aspects of my life while giving my best to each one.

My interests range from photography, music, fashion, performing arts, and science. I strive to interpret and integrate these diverse interests into my architectural and design expressions, resulting in work that is both creative and logical.

Although I may lack substantial professional experience as an architect, I firmly believe in the significance of teamwork. I bring to the table a cooperative and adaptive mindset, balanced with the confidence to express my ideas and contribute positively to the team.

At the core of my value system is a desire to assist those in need and provide hope and happiness to those struggling. This value serves as the bedrock for all my thoughts and decisions, guiding my approach in both my personal and professional life.
