Khaled is an architect with a deep passion for culture and design, he graduated with academic excellence from Beirut Arab University holding the Bachelor of Architecture BArch accredited by the Royal Institute of British Architects where received the RIBA Part 1.
His graduation dissertation was nominated for the RIBA President Medals Awards, which serves as a testament to his ability to conduct extensive research and deliver innovative design solutions that incorporate cultural nuances. What makes this achievement even more remarkable is that Khaled received nominations in two consecutive years. In 2021, he was nominated for his architectural design project, and the following year, he received another nomination for his graduation research dissertation. This dual recognition highlights the exceptional quality of his work and his dedication to the field of architecture.
In terms of professional experience, Khaled has gained valuable design experience through his work with international design studios like Speetra Design Studio in Paris and Bernard Khoury Architectural Studio. These experiences have allowed Khaled to explore various design disciplines, including architectural design, industrial design, graphic design, and product design.
Furthermore, Khaled has worked as an Assistant Curator at the Sami Makarem Cultural Center. During his time there, he played a crucial role in developing a vision plan for the entire center. Additionally, Khaled has collaborated with renowned non-profit organizations such as UNESCO, UNFPS, UNODC, and Li Beirut, where he served as an Urban Project Executive for a youth-led urban rehabilitation project. Through this project, he demonstrated his design skills and showcased his ability to collaborate with a team in creating innovative cultural experiences.
