UNCuyo and Godoy Cruz Municipality, Mendoza, AR, Urbanism Researcher
As part of a team of university professors and students, I participated in an ad honorem research project in collaboration with the Municipality of Godoy Cruz in Mendoza, Argentina, focused on developing a Walkability Index with a gender perspective. Our team developed indicators and calculation sheets for the Walkability Index, tested it on a street, and presented the results along with proposed design solutions to local authorities. Our work was featured on various websites, including godoycruz.gob.ar and uncuyo.edu.ar, and we made sure to highlight the importance of considering gender perspectives in urban planning.
Kristich Desarrollos, Mendoza, AR, Project Architect
I was part of a team of three Project Architects who won a design competition for a 2000 m2 shopping complex. As part of the team, I helped design and 3D model the complex, drew up plans, and secured permits for municipal approval. We managed the project collaboratively from concept to completion, adhering to local regulations and design standards. This project allowed me to further develop my skills in design, 3D modeling, and project management. The project is currently under construction.
Dretti Arquitectos, Mendoza, AR, Intern Architect
As an Architecture Intern at a small architecture firm, I had the opportunity to be involved in various aspects of the design and construction process. My responsibilities included designing and creating 3D models of proposed solutions, drawing plans for municipal approval, calculating construction materials for cost-effectiveness, and supervising the construction site. This hands-on experience allowed me to gain a deep understanding of the entire design-build process and strengthened my skills in design, project management, and communication.
Universidad Nacional de Cuyo, Mendoza, AR, Architect
I hold a six-year degree in Architecture, which was part of the Engineering Faculty. This provided me with a strong foundation in structural design, along with a focus on social and environmental aspects of architecture. During my studies, I spent one semester in Oldenburg, Germany, where I pursued a master's degree in Renewable Energies. This experience enhanced my knowledge in sustainable design and reinforced my passion for environmentally conscious architecture.
BID CITIESLAB: International Competition, Nomination
I was part of an interdisciplinary team that participated in the fifth edition of the BID CitiesLab international competition, which aimed to develop a comprehensive urban project for the heritage neighborhood of San Telmo in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Our project, "ESTACIÓN 4," was selected to advance to the second phase of the competition based on our innovative design concepts and research into local needs and preferences. This experience allowed me to further develop my skills in collaboration, research, and design thinking.
